Seafood lovers take heart! Shenandoah, TX, is soon to be home to a second Goode Co. restaurant concept (the first of its kind) which will go into the space occupied by their former Goode Co. Barbecue, next door to its sister concept Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina, both located at 8865 Six Pines in Shenandoah.
Like all Goode Company concepts, Goode Co. Fish Camp & Oyster Bar is rooted around the Goode family’s rich history and knowledge of regional cuisine, and for Levi Goode, chef and owner, this concept harkens back to the time he spent with his father growing up and fishing near San Luis Pass.
This restaurant pays tribute to each satisfying part of that process: the excitement of the catch; the experience of harvesting and cooking the fish; and the ritual of sharing a homemade, hard-earned meal.
This restaurant will feature freshly-shucked oysters from an oyster bar, seasonal offerings, cocktails, along with great music in a lively and vibrant environment and outdoor seating on their private patio.
After this weekend's soft-opening preview, residents and visitors are sure to love it's coastal vibe with relaxing blue color palette with white-washed wood touches, and comfortable, upscale dineresque chairs and banquettes, perfect for lingering, along with bar seating. And, as the Goode family likes to say, "...the food and drinks are pretty darn Goode!" Definitely another visit-worthy dining establishment for our city, and an excellent addition to our city's expanding restaurant scene.
