Houston Restaurant Weeks - Shenandoah

From August 1 through September 7, Houston Restaurant Weeks hosts the largest foodie-related event in Houston. For 5 weeks, diners can enjoy specially priced, multi-course prix fixe menus—just $25 for brunch or lunch, and $39 or $55 for dinner—at some of the most popular restaurants in the area. This event raises necessary funds for the Houston Food Bank (Montgomery County Food Bank in our area).

About CLEVERLEY STONE (Founder of HRW)

Affectionately known as “The Diva of Dining,” Cleverley Stone dedicated her life to fighting hunger in Houston. She founded Houston Restaurant Weeks™ (HRW) in 2003 with her “Dine Out & Do Good™” mission, creating what has become the city’s largest annual fundraiser of its kind. HRW has generated millions of dollars for the local economy while raising vital support for Houston Food Bank and transforming August into Houston restaurants’ most profitable month.

A respected restaurant correspondent for 26 years and host of “The Cleverley Food Talk Radio Show,” Stone also served as a longtime contributor to FOX26/KRIV Morning News. Following her passing in 2020, her daughter, Katie Stone, continued Houston Restaurant Weeks in accordance with her mother’s wishes and established The Cleverley Stone Foundation to carry on her legacy by producing HRW and its sister event, Eat Drink HTX™, in support of Houstonians in need.
